The City of Groveport is soon to begin work on the 2023 Street Maintenance Program, with improvements being conducted by the City’s contractor, Strawser Paving Company. 

Work activities include removal and resurfacing of pavement and - on some streets - curb repairs and curb ramp repairs, on the following streets: 

• Elmont Place – between Hamilton Road and Venison Way
• Edge Grove Drive – between Saw Grove Court and Briar Grove Drive
• Private Alley – between Blacklick Street and Hickory Alley 
• Maple Street – between Church Street and Walnut Street and between Private Alley and Front Street

During work times, traffic flow may be disrupted.   Some curbside parking on/near affected streets will be temporarily discontinued to allow the contractor space to perform the work.  The contractor will post curbside signage notices to temporarily prohibit street parking in the work area, prior to the day of activity. Travelers are requested to use alternate routes if possible to avoid the work zone.

While weather may affect the schedule, work on the above streets is expected to be completed by end of July, 2023.
