[ARCHIVED] 2020 Street Maintenance Program Update

Streetprint Application

Work activities include pavement repair and asphalt resurfacing, spot curb replacements and repairs in some areas.  Part of this year’s street maintenance project will be improvements made at the intersection of Main Street and College Street.  

Project Update (Aug. 17, 2020):  Sidewalk and paving work will begin at the intersection of Main Street and College Street on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, during daylight hours. Traffic delays may occur.  Weather permitting, work at the intersection is expected to be substantially completed by mid to late September.  

Project Update (Sept. 25, 2020):  Weather permitting, milling and asphalt repairs will occur at Main Street and College Street beginning on Monday, September 28, 2020.  Paving at the intersection will begin on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.  Streetprint application is scheduled to begin the week of October 5, 2020.  Weather and temperatures may affect this schedule.  Project updates will continue to be posted on the website.

Project Update (Oct. 5, 2020):  The City's contractor Decker Construction Company, and their subcontractor, Gerken, Inc., will be installing the crosswalk material today known as "Streetprint" at the intersection of Main Street and College Street.  The work may roll into tomorrow, depending on the weather conditions.  Please be advised that temporary traffic disruptions may occur during the installation process today, and possibly tomorrow.
