The Groveport Municipal Building is open to the general public with new procedures in place. City leaders have instituted all necessary precautions mandated by the Ohio Department of Health to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.All employees and visitors to the building are required to wear a mask and be temperature tested immediately upon entry. Only one person at a time will be helped at a customer service window. We’re asking customers to limit their visits to occasions of necessity.Citizens are encouraged to handle as much business as possible via telephone or email. Whenever possible, customers should schedule appointments for in-office visits.Visitors will not have access to public restrooms.All staff and visitors are required to observe social distancing rules.The Groveport Recreation Center will open for business starting Thursday, May 28 at 5:30am.Hours will be as follows:Monday – Friday, 5:30am – 8:00pmSaturday & Sunday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Town Hall, Senior Center, and the Groveport Police Department lobby will remain closed to the general public until further notice.The Groveport Police Department will continue to patrol the City as they normally do.Senior Transportation will continue to serve seniors with essential trips, such as medical appointments and the grocery store.
