Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jon Husted, and Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, M.D. MPH, announced that the "Stay at Home" order has been extended. The original order that went into effect Monday, March 23, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. and was set to expire at 11:59 p.m. on April 6, 2020, has been extended to May 1st.Department Directors and support staff in the Municipal Building will not report to the office and will be working from home. The Public Works Department will operate with a revolving schedule of employees working reduced hours. These changes will remain in effect thru Monday, April 20, at which time the situation will be reevaluated.The City Municipal Building, Town Hall, Rec Center, Senior Center, Groveport Municipal Golf Course, and the Groveport Police Department lobby will remain closed to the general public. The Groveport Police Department will continue to patrol the City as they normally do.Senior Transportation will continue to serve seniors with essential trips, such as medical appointments and the grocery store.
