Bikeways/Leisure Paths – The City of Groveport is home to more than 5 miles of both paved and natural bikeways / leisure paths. For more information, call the Groveport Parks & Recreation Department at 614-836-1000 or visit www.groveportrec.com.

Children’s Activities – Crooked Alley KidSpace, 630 Wirt Road, offers scheduled programming and facility rentals for children through Groveport's Community Affairs Department in Town Hall. Programming includes children’s art, dance; music; special events; a preschool child-parent playgroup; Scout meetings; and a site for birthday parties and other children’s private rentals   There is no charge to reserve KidSpace if you are a Groveport resident or taxpayer.  For information, call Groveport Town Hall at 614-836-3333.

Community Recreation Center – The Groveport Recreation Center is a 67,000 square foot facility that houses a fitness center, indoor 1/10 mile three lane track, rock climbing wall, indoor pool, two regulation size gymnasiums, group fitness studio, expansive lobby and meeting rooms, babysitting room, locker rooms and more. The facility is also home to the Groveport Parks & Recreation Department and is located at 7370 Groveport Road. Crooked Alley KidSpace - Meeting, party and class space especially for our youngest residents.  Consider reserving the library with an enclosed meeting or social space, colorful lobby with toys, and enclosed playground with a 16' treehouse, and a large multipurpose meeting space.  KidSpace also offers arts and education classes especially for ages 3-10. Emergency Operations Plan - The Groveport Emergency Operations Plan supplements the larger plan currently in place for Madison Township and Franklin County.  This plan is to be used in the case of a smaller emergency that affects only the City of Groveport.  To view the plan, please click here.

Golf Course  - The Links at Groveport, 1005 Richardson Rd. (614-836-5874) - Formerly a private country club, The Links at Groveport is an 18-hole, par 72 course, owned and operated by the City of Groveport. The front nine was built in 1929, designed by Frank Waugh. Groveport Town Hall
 – provides arts and education programming targeted to all ages and interests, as well as facilities which are available for reservation by residents, businesses and civic associations.  On the first floor, the Art Gallery features rotating exhibits and the Groveport Heritage Museum displays artifacts and memorabilia dating to the early nineteenth century. Museums – The Groveport Heritage Museum displays historic artifacts and memorabilia dating to the City's earliest days in the mid-nineteenth century. The Museum describes the merger of two towns on the Ohio and Erie Canal - Wert's Grove and Rarey's Port - into "Groveport" in 1847, still the only "Groveport" in the nation. Of special interest is the area devoted to the original Horse Whisperer, Groveport resident John S. Rarey, whose unique methods as a horse trainer earned international praise.  Free admission.  Located in Groveport Town Hall, 648 Main Street. Parks & Recreation – The City’s Parks & Recreation Department manages numerous parks, athletic fields, paths, picnic shelters, nature center and other recreational facilities covering more than 178 acres, and offers many year round recreational programs for persons of all ages. Senior Center – The Groveport Senior Center is located next to the Groveport Recreation Center. The spacious facility is complete with private restrooms, kitchen, sitting room, arts & crafts area, lounge with big screen television, leather furniture, card tables, pool table, shuffle board and more. Members enjoy playing cards, shooting pool, walking, dancing, socializing, quilting, weekly lunches, bingo, board games, arts & crafts, trips & more. Senior Transportation – The Groveport Senior Transportation Program promotes the continuation of an independent lifestyle for individuals age 60 and older through the provision of dependable door to door transportation for residents of the City of Groveport. The program will assist in decreasing clients’ dependence upon family members and friends and increase opportunities for independent mobility. Special Events – Includes holiday-themed community-wide programming (e.g. Christmas, Veterans Day, Halloween) and recreational programming offered at Groveport Recreation Center, Groveport Town Hall and KidSpace.

Swimming Pools (Municipal) – The City of Groveport owns and operates two swimming pools. The Groveport Aquatic Center is an outdoor 450,000 gallon water park with many features and is located at 7330 Groveport Road. The outdoor water park typically opens Memorial Day weekend (weather pending) and closes on Labor Day.
